I stayed here for a while and I must say that it was a great place to stay at, even though it was hard to find the first time. The hostel is located in an office building on the third floor. It's a new place so it lacks the same character as older places, but it makes up for it in many respects including its cleanliness.
My husband and I stayed at Juliana hostel for 4 nights in August. The rooms and facilites are very clean. Our room was regularly tidied. The TV in our room had a few English channels. The air conditioning worked well which was a welcome relief after a day in the heat in Cairo. Management was very helpful and patient in answering all our touristy questions. We were picked up from the airport, as per our request, right on time. Best of all - breakfast & coffee (included) was served right to our room every morning. What a luxury! Juliana Hotel is located close to the Canadian and American embassies in Cairo and is also near the subway station. I would recommend this hostel to other travellors looking for a clean, well priced room in Cairo.

Cheap hostel type accom. Don't expect anything more.No hot water in shower for three days. Entrance filthy and delapidated. Close to even more filthy and delapidated downtown Cairo. Only use if ona strict budget and can't pay fora descent hotel.
Great value with excellent service. Hany, the manager couldn't have done more to assist and after staying a night at another hotel with my tour i really realised how great it was (and was half the price). A definite must to go to for the budget backpacker

I was surprised to find the hotel on the 3rd floor of an office building, it was not much to look at but the interior was better than expected.
The rooms were clean and has a homely feel to it. My room came with attached bathroom and two big single beds with plenty of room to move about. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is another plus point - its near the Canadian embassy and about 10-15 mins walk to Sadat Station and the Talaat Harb street. I will definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Cairo.

It is value for the money you pay. David(staff) & Hany (Manager) are very helpful and can help you to go around as well. You get a decent breakfast as well. The rooms are clean and neat, but the acoustics can be better. The staff as a whole was very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is located in a place which is not the best for a first time traveler to Cairo. But Hany and the staff make sure to cover for the location so would definitely recommend this place.

I like this place so much ,clean room and quit .just 5 min walk to the egyption museum ,the staff is so kind and tender ,they have very very fair price for tour to every where ,they have agood guide and good driver too ,they have agreat value for every thing ,they are very reliable for u .specially karim,hani and david .

My wife and I stayed at the Juliana Hotel for 5 nights after scouring the internet for good budget accommodation in the central part of Cairo. Hotel is well located with quick access to the Nile and to the Metro. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend to friends.

We have been accomodate in Juliana hostel on the 3, 4 and 5 of august of 2009.
Rooms are very clean, the facilities are very new and the staff in charge is very nice and happy to help. Breakfast is included in price so when living the hotel you are ready for tourism.
If I ever have to come back to el cairo we will stay at Julianas place again, it is been very nice.
