Global Port Douglas is a fairly new hostel.. The common areas like the kitchen, living room and bathroom were all modern and clean. The rooms were your standard compact hostel rooms. The beds only had a sheet to sleep under, but it was hot so I didn't mind. It has a great location right in the heart of Port Douglas's quaint main street. The hostel is on top of a restaurant and has nice views of the surrounding street and sky. The staff was young, helpful and friendly.

The beds only had a sheet to sleep under, but it was hot so I didn't mind. It has a great location right in the heart of Port Douglas's quaint main street. The hostel is on top of a restaurant and has nice views of the surrounding street and sky. The staff was young, helpful and friendly. I wish I could of stayed longer to enjoy the beaches and city!
