Yamashiroya Ryokan always welcomes you all warmly with a smile eventhough the staff cannot speak so well.

It might be only means to communicate with you by gestures and body languages.

It would be great if we could convey the Japanese hospitality to you all.

Our inn only adopts the room charge system so it is the best suited for a woman travelling alone, sight-seeing families, business people and etc.

Convenient location for city sightseeing, close to Kyoto Tower,

Higashi-Honganji temple, Nishi-Honganji temple and Sanju Sangendo which is famous for its 1001 thousand-handed Konnon Awesome Buddhas.

Easy access to JR Kyoto Esetan Department, ('porta) a variety of restaurants in the basement and (The Cube) specialized stores are good for dining out and shopping.

Also there are convenience stores, coffee shops and fast food chains in the neighbourhood.

All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and completely smoke-free! There is no designated smoking area in the house.

With amenities: Yukata (Bath Robe), Bath towel, Face towel, Shompoo & Hairconditioner, Soap, Toothbrush and paper cup.

Free refrigerator, please feel free to use it.

Sorry,you can't use internet in your rooom and we don't have PC that guests can use and a large bath and you can't smoke in our ryokan!!No smoking!!
