OUR BEDROOMS
We offer you spacious bedrooms with bathroom and/or showers, and for tight budgets some of our rooms are proposed at 45 euro/night. The cheapest room offered (45.00 euro) comes with sink in the room and shared toilet on the floor: Showers are not provided when booking this type of room
Hotel Francois is located near a place in the old area of the chicken market, separated today by the Anspach Boulevard, it is dominated by a covered market also called 'halle' build un 1881.
This place is the ancient St-Gery island formed by the Senne.

Without pretention, a small sympathetic restaurant with a range of good food and simple pasta (one of these with sausage!). Sixties decoration, cool service and fancy wines.
For the ones who do not know it yet, Martin was a lost kitton, who found a home with a young couple. Those got very fastly found of the little loving animal. That’s why he was chosen to be the effigy of the restaurant. The restaurant has been installed in the former reception of a little family hotel, located just next to the Saint Gery Hall.

I had not realised that I was paying for 2 beds in a double room - this is more a criticism of you than of the hotel!!!! I expected to pay less, so was a bit disappointed as I would have been quite happy with a smaller room as I only slept there.
I had verified in advance that there are absolutelu NO facilities for eating or drinking ... no communcal kitchen, kettle, fridge as well as no breakfast etc so I was ready for this, but it is important to make this clear. Otherwise the place was fine

Great location! In the middle of city heart. Hotel is little and tiny, but room we stayed in was quite big. Ideal for couples. They have only one twin room, other rooms have double beds. Wifi signal in last stage is not so strong. We didn't have a microwave in our room and TV wasn't working. Overall we enjoyed our staying there. Lady at reception was nice and helpfully.

We stayed at Hotel Francois in a Private Double with shared toilet, as our bedroom had a shower and sink. It was very easy to find in spite of the confusing directions, as it was very close to the train station and very centrally located in general. The bedroom was pretty big with a queen bed, good sheets, a comfy mattress but not very good pillows. The room also had a television, a desk and a wardrobe. Our room also had a great view of a charming street below. There were lots of restaurants very close by and it was very easy to get around on foot from the hotel around the city center. The sink and shower ensuite were very nice and clean, but also in a tiny bathroom. They had 24 reception, gave us a map upon our arrival and were helpful in calling us a cab early in the morning. While it was pretty expensive for a technically "shared" bathroom, it was a really nice place to stay and in an awesome location in a great city.

Good location, convenient but took us awhile to find the place, perhaps a clearer direction in the website would help. Very clean and big room. Only complain is no proper reception counter.

GREAT ROOM with shower and doublebed for 55€.
Is is located in the city center and in a nice area.
It is more like a guesthouse instead of a hotel.
Breakfast would have cost us 5€ per day - we didn't try it.
I would come again.
