Kajang's town is famous for its 'satay' (a form of skewered barbecued meat) and also other culinary delights. The town is also close to shopping centres, golf courses (approximately about 6 golf courses nearby),educational institutions (such as University of Nottingham)and meeting and convention centres. Other attractions are Putrajaya, the new federal administrative centre, WETLAND Park, Semenyih Reservoir (the largest artificial lakes of Malaysia, with the size of 1500 acre, the lake is truly nostalgic to foreign visitors) and other natural attractions.
