L'auberge Hostel Centraal est l'endroit qu'il vous faut ! Située près du zoo d'Amsterdam (Artis Zoo), dans un environnement verdoyant en plein coeur d'Amsterdam, elle vous proposera un cadre agréable et reposant, à deux pas des sites touristiques majeurs de la ville, accessibles à pied comme en train ou en bus.
Les principaux sites accessibles à pied sont les suivants : gare centrale (Centraal Station), Place du Dam, quartier De Vallen, Rembrandtplein (place Rembrandt), place Waterloo.
Notre auberge est entourée d'épiceries, de restaurants (italiens, asiatiques et turcs), de cafés-restaurants, de bars et de cafés.
Nous nous efforcerons de rendre votre séjour aussi agréable que possible.
Aucun couvre-feu n'est prévu. Le petit déjeuner est servi entre 8 h 00 et 10 h 00.
Heure d'arrivée : 13 h 00. Heure de départ : 11 h 00.
Nous n'acceptons que les paiements en espèces à l'arrivée.
Hors saison, les séjours doivent inclure au minimum 2 nuits (3 nuits en saison touristique).
Remarque : une taxe supplémentaire de 5 % sera appliquée au montant total de votre facture.
*Vous devez fournir une autorisation de paiement accordée par la banque sur votre carte bancaire, de façon que nous puissions garantir la réservation.
*Pour toute annulation ou pour tout changement de date, veuillez
informer l'hôtel 48 heures avant la date d'arrivée prévue.
Si vous annulez votre réservation ou changez votre date d'arrivée passé ce délai, vous serez débité du montant total du séjour.

Any change or cancellation in this period, has to be done by E-mail 3(THREE) WEEKS before arrival, otherwise we would charge your credit card for the whole amount of the whole stay.
**During Special events, we require (Pre-Authorization) 3(Three weeks) prior to arrival date.
- When you have booked more than one bed, we cannot guarantee that you will be sleeping together in the same room.
****We will need (Pre) authorization of VISA or MASTERCARD for the total amount 3 days prior to the arrival date. Otherwise, your reservation will be CANCELED
Bookings for more than 6 persons please contact the hotel first before proceeding.
Accepted age is between 18 - 28 years old.

Great hostel. Two guys that run the place where such good people. They have a cute cat floating around which adds alot of character to the place too. Ensuite in my room which made it feel more homely than alot of 'normal' hostels do. Very clean, no bad smells and comfly beds.

We did not see the hotel.When we arrived the person who was at the counter told us that our reservation had been canceled for failure in the credit card payment, he told us that he had sent several emails to let us know, but when checked, we had only received one last night. we stayed in the street, and when we return to Spain, we found that the payment had been done, and therefore we had to cancel.
I do not recommend it, they tried to cheat us.
Just returned from a weekend here...have stayed at alot of hostels in Amsterdam (approx 20) and this is by far the worst place I have ever been to...photos on the website are VERY misleading. Rooms are tiny, even in comparison to the average Amsterdam hostel, these are small!!! All the mattresses in our room (4 beds) were the wrong size for the bed frame,way too small of course! TV was missing, just a broken cable hanging out the wall. Walls were covered in loose cables hanging out where the the wall lights were supposed to be. one dim bulb in the ceiling meant the room was just dark! Toilet flush panel missing so we had to reach into a dark hole in the wall to pull the plunger directly! Location is terrrible, they are charging the same price as centrally located hostels but they are a 15 min tram ride from the center of town... No towels in the room, asked for towels, told there was a deposit (for each towel!) and was then given towels the LITERALLY size of an open magazine!! Handed in towels at end of stay and was told 'only then' what I should have been told in advance that there was a charge to wash them, so no deposit given back! Deposit to be paid on the crummy disposable plastic room key....Manager generally rude and thinks that 'this is only a hostel' is a suitable answer for stuff being broken or missing or dangerous! Trust me - you can book better than this closer to town...local inspectors need to check up on this place!!!

Hostel Centraal is a little bit outside of the city centre, but it is right next to the tram stop. So you have the advantages of being in the middle of a city AND have some peace and quiet at night so you can rest. The staff was very friendly and was always at our service. The rooms were clean and had enough space.

overall a good hostel abit long to walk to if u are around central area. good service. friendly pepole that work there . totaly worth the money too stay there and i will return to the hostel next year.
