Located just 3 minutes away from the International Airport of San Jos which is actually located in Alajuela. With public transportation service available just a couple of blocks away from the hostel, there is no reason for you to go all the way to San Jos. All buses leaving San Jos to the beaches, volcanoes and mountains, or even to Nicaragua and Central America, stop in Alajuela, and the other way around.Alajuela is home of many tourist sites, including the Butterfly Farm, Poas Volcano, the Serpentarium and the Aviaryto name just a few.
