Typical capsule hotel, if a bit shabby. But overall, a good value for a place to stay that's close to many of the important temples and such. Only problem is that it's not a hostel, in that you won't be meeting a lot of other tourists. That, and the mattress was kind of thin. But for what it is, this is a great, cheap way to stay in Kyoto.

The only capule hotel in Kyoto City. Kiyomizu Temple, a World Heritage site, is just 5 min. away.

About Capsule bed

The number of use of capsule beds is one person.

The guest rooms are capsules. Each capsule is about 2 meters by 1 meter, usually fitting a bed, TV, lighting and an alarm clock.

Male dorm capsule room is located on 3rd floor.

Bath room is shared . Private is belongings in locker.

Private room is located on 4th and 5th floor.

This room has the rest room, the bathtub, the sofa, the desk, and two capsule beds.

One extra bed can be added.Each capsule is about 2 meters by 1 meter, usually fitting a bed, TV, lighting and an alarm clock.

Your luggage

You can store your luggage at front desk before check in. Luggage storage service time is from 10am. And you can store your luggage after 10am when you checked out .

Open all day- No curfew

After checking in, you can come and go,anytime.

Check-In Time is4:00 PM (16:00)

Check-Out Time is by 10:00 AM

When you get out from Capsulehotel,a locker key should be returned to the front desk.

Extending your stay

If you stay later than 10AM,extra charge will be charged 350 Yen per 60minutes.

Even if you stay more than two days, you are required to leave our hotel from 10AM to 4PM.

Prohibition

Smoking is prohibited at all times on CapsuleFloor.

The use of a mobile phone is prohibited in Capsule room.

It's a capsule hotel, friendly staff, in walking distance to most of the temples on the east side of Kyoto => therefore a good location for travellers who don't mind to sleep in a capsule. Probably one of the cheapest possibilities in that area (2800 Yen).
Make sure to print out the map before, there is no indication written in english outside...
