The good :
Great location. Friendly staff....some with very good sense of humour. Large room with good shower, air con and view.
The not so good :
A bit pushy on their own tours. They'd have you organised right down to where you wipe your bottom in Aswan if they could. Stand firm! 8 o'clock breakfast sometimes not available till 9 o'clock. Decor a bit tired in places.
Overall : This was the only place we stayed in Cairo so can't compare with others but I'm guessing that it's the same as or better than most in this price range. Yes, we would stay here again.

It's an ideal place if you want to visit all the downtown attractions in central Cairo. The staff couldn't be more friendly, and were helpful in suggesting places to go and see and do.
We stayed one night coming into Egypt and two nights at the end of our travels.
They were also very helpful in organizing and arranging your travel.
The only downside was that on our second visit back before leaving Egypt, we arrived to find the room not ready, and had to wait a while until it was cleaned. On taking occupancy we found the bathroom smelling of strong disinfectant and the bedlinen wasn't changed. Bit of a letdown, but hey, a beds a bed.
