Good things:
Very cheap. As we satyed 3 nights we got a free pick-up from the airport which was very accurate. The place is clean. You can buy water and drinks in the hostel for a very low price.Not so good:
The hostel is on the 4th floor without elevator - quite tough if you have some lugagge! The building itself is decayed - as many buildings in this area. We had a room with 3 beds without bathroom - that was not a good idea: The room was very (japanese-)small and contained only 3 beds without any cupboards not even enough room for the suitcases. Unfortunately right now there is a construction place in front of the hostel and they are working through the night so it is difficult to get some sleep.Advice: If you take a room with 2 beds and bath you have much more comfort and room!
Totally dissappointed with the manner and attitude of the staff.
It was my first time visiting Egypt and I had to stay in Cairo city for a night for transit. I booked the hotel around 2 weeks before by email and asked to pick me up from the airport. I arrived on time at the airport but since I had a baggage problem and the bag that I supposed to get didn’t come out from baggage claim that I had to confirm with the airport stuff and it took longer time for me to go out the gate. My driver supposed to wait me outside the gate but I could not find him that I called hotel and found out that the driver already go back to the hotel. Moreover he blamed me and shouted at me saying that it was my fault not to come out from the gate sooner. He said he waited enough time and since I didn’t show up that he decided to go back to hotel without even try to look for me or wait till I go out the gate. Also, they refused to come back to pick me up to the airport. Even though it was nearly midnight, I am very shocked and disappointed by this attitude that I decided to change the hotel.
I didn’t actually stayed at the hotel but I can tell how bad the service and the attitude of the people there. I also talked with the owner Japanese women but she was not at all helpful. You should never try to stay at this hotel.
