Le bâtiment, à l'architecture digne d'intérêt, date de l'époque édouardienne et fait partie des constructions protégées (zone des constructions protégées Heaver Estate Conservation Area). Notre auberge propose un hébergement pour un maximum de 24 personnes. Chaque chambre simple, double, à lits jumeaux et familiale est dotée de sa propre salle de bains.
Installations incluses : parking en retrait de la rue, connexion Internet via le WiFi, petit déjeuner continental et anglais (inclus dans le prix de la chambre), installations téléphoniques/intercom pour la réception et l'envoi d'appels, télévision en couleur avec lecteur de DVD dans chaque chambre, salon avec télévision et lecteur de DVD. Great value. Closest to Balham Station, but the 15 minute walk could be daunting.
You could also wait for the bus.
Breakfast is not so great, and mainly composed of eggs, jam packets and heated canned food. But given the price, it wasn't that bad after all.
Very nice and helpful staff.
Noisy street outside.
Right next to Tooting Park, which is BEAUTIFUL.
Internet access 100%.
Free coffee and espresso from machine.
Between-room sound insulation is ok, no complaints.
TV works 100%.
Washing machine for a small fee.

First...directions from the subway stop were horrible...use mapquest or another service and print your own.
Second...The room was tiny..two twin beds with two suitcases on the floor meant no clear bath to the extra tiny bathroom. Very cramped. The other rooms looked nice enough, but ours was very small.
The good news... great breakfast, great staff, decor is nicely done inside and out, very helpful.
All in all, I would stay again if I knew I would get one of the larger rooms.

Try not to book a room next to the street becouse it is quite noisy. But this is compensated by the staff who are more than willing to make you fell good.

Loved it and will stay there again. It is a bit far from the Balham Underground station, but normally I would like to walk that 6 blocks. This time I have a foot problem and would have liked it to be closer.
The service is charming and friendly, with everyone going out of their way to help. The breakfast buffet is very good, but not over the top, more like having breakfast at a friend's house. We all enjoyed the room, but the triple had an unevenly placed bathroom cabinet that made using the sink difficult. It has free parking in the rear of the property that makes it very convenient for London, if you need your car for later.
I took there card and will book again when I am in London.

The staff, room, location and food was awsome!!! We defenetly recommend anyone to stay in this hostel.
