L'auberge est très bien.

Elle est située à 5mn à pied de london bridge. et juste à coté du métro.

C'est très propre. Les draps et serviettes de bains sont fournies.

il y a une salle avec coin cinéma, une terrasse ... c'est parfait pour rencontrer des gens des 4 coins du monde.

Le seul problème est l'absence de cuisine (il y a qu'un micro-ondes).

Mais génial!

Overall, it was pretty below average. The girls hostel I stayed in only had rooms & bathrooms. We had to walk down the road every morning to the main hostel for breakfast. They were painting the hostel, I got paint on my jacket because I did not know they were painting when I arrived & there were no signs up. The reception staff were pretty useless, unfriendly and quite frankly looked like they just didnt want to be there. At one stage, I went up to the reception desk with an enquiry and ended up doing the girls job for her! Only 1 out of the 3 toilets in the bathroom seemed to work - and that toilet was on a 45 degree angle! The taps on the sink spluttered and hardly any water came out of the tap, some days it worked, some days it didnt work. Although the cleaners cleaned the floor of the room every day - they didnt clean under the beds ad there was a build up of dust under there, when you store your luggage or items in the cage under the bed, it gets covered in giant dust balls. The sheets and towels seemed pretty clean. The hostel's main website makes this hostel out to be really wonderful, but when you arrive, its no different to any other hostel. The only real difference is they have pink sheets and free shampoo, conditioner in a pump pack on the wall of the shower, make up remover in the bathroom and mini soaps. There are no lifts in the hostels and only a 52 step narrow stairwell going up to the top floor with a few other floors along the way. They had free wifi - but it constantly cut out and you had to constantly log back in. The reception had about 6 computers - but you had to pay for the internet connection and it was rediculously expensive. The main hostel didnt have lifts either - only stairs from what I was told. The breakfast was served on the bar which is great if you like that stale beer smell the next morning whilst you are having your toast or cereal. The "juice" they served was flavoured cordial. The hostel seemed really run down and nothing seemed to work. I was quite happy to be out of there at the end of a 5 night stay.
the reception was down the road. So, hypothetically, if you locked yourself out of your room - you would have to go out to the street and walk down the road for 4 minutes to get to reception! Its not really a practical hostel.
