The hotel is well positioned on the U1 and S lines for easy access to central berlin. There is a 3km park immedaitely outside the door (used for running and walking by locals) and another sports stadium track and other facilities directly over the road. Nearests shops about 500m away, and for restuarants about 800m

The staff is generally friendly and rooms are servised well each day, but towles only replaced when requested

The rooms are basic but ideal for overnights or even an extenede stay as long as you are only using it as a base. The breakfasts, internet, bar and anything additional is seriously over-priced and well worth using this simply for stay and going elsewhere for all other services.

It is an absolute cheek / insult to charge to hold baggage for 6 hours of guests who have stayed 10 days in a hotel, but that perhaps gives an indication of the attitude of the management.
There are both 3 star and 2 star wings in the hotel - suggestion would be to book here for first night into Berlin then go into city and you may well find better value for money and probably better attitude with regards the additional services and value the management put on their guests

Though you cannot expect much from a low budget hotel, this was to much. They charged you for almost everything and it was not close to subway. On the other hand, it was really cheap. Would not stay there again.
