It’s only 1 minute walk to Guting metro station, and 5 minutes walk to famous Shida night market.

We are surrounded by cafes, shops, supermarkets and banks. It’s also close to the best nightlife, all the trendy bars, restaurants, pubs and clubs yet far enough to have a good night’s sleep.

- Our reception hours are from 10:00 am till 10: 00 pm. Check in hour are from 14:00pm till 10:00pm. If you are not able to check in within that time, please let us know in advance so somebody will be there to help you.

- Total payment of stay is required upon arrival. We only accept cash payment for the time being, sorry for the inconvenience.

- Cancellation Policy is 72 hours before the your arrival.

- Our facilities are on shared basis. Due to these characteristics, Tree House may not be suitable for those without any hostelling experience.

- Children under the age of 6 are not acceptable at the moment, sorry for any inconvenience.

It’s cheaper to take the bus and MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) from C.K.S. Airport, which is what the Taiwanese call their metro/subway system. It’s about a 50 minute bus ride from the airport to central Taipei. Then you can take MRT (NTD20) quickly come down to Guting Station which will place you within 1 minute walking distance of the hostel.

After the bus arrives at Taipei City, you can get off at the stop of Mingchuan W. Road Station or Taipei Main Station. Then you take the Red line to south (either to Xindian or to Nanshijao), Guting is only 6/3 stops of to reach.

From Guting Station to Tree House Hostel

When you arrive at Guting Station, head to Exit 5, leave through the exit and turn left (actually a 180 degree turn around from the metro exit). Walk just a few metres and you should see a lane on your right hand side with a sign saying 'Lane 11, Heping E. Rd. Sec.1' (TenRen Tea Shop is right at corner). Walk straight down this lane for about a minute (there is a tiny right turn, along the way) and we are on your right hand side at the end of the lane.

Direction for Taxi driver:

Drive along to Sec.1 Helping E. Rd, turn right at Roosevelt Rd., and you turn right in the first lane, then you turn left in the first corner(there is a restaurant in the corner), keep driving straight to the end, you can see us in your right hand side.
