The Garden Hotel Bremen stands for personal service and a warm welcome.

Our hotel offers 72 cosy rooms, one restaurant and a bar. We are located in the Northern part of Bremen near the harbour district. Close to the centre – in a quiet surrounding, only 4 km distance to the city centre and the main train station. The ideal starting point to visit and explore what Bremen has to offer. The venue PIER 2 is not far from our hotel as well as Germany's first Primark Store and Bremen's newest shopping centre "Waterfront" and also the river Weser is only a few minutes away.

All rooms are equipped with telephone, wireless lan (free of charge), flatscreen satellite TV with alarm function, radio and hairdryer. As a welcome drink we have prepared a complimentary bottle of mineral water in your room. Should you wish to purchase any additional drinks, you are welcome to do so at our lobby bar at any time (also at night time).

Bathrobes, addtional towels and a large range of toiletries are available on request, for some items charges may apply.

by plane

a) by cab – costs are approx Euro 10,--

b) by hire car – take the previous directions given under arrival by car

c) take the tram number 6 until Domsheide, change here into tram number 3 and get off at Grasberger Straße. This should take you approx. 30 minutes.

by train

Bremen’s main train station has two exits. Please take the one which says “Stadtmitte” which means centre. In front of the exit on the left hand side you find the main tram station. Please take the number 10 direction Gröpelingen, which should not take longer than 17 minutes. You have to get off at stop "Moorstraße" and from here it is a 3 minute walk to the hotel. When getting off the tram, you can see a sign on one of the housewalls (corner of "Luchtbergstrasse") which direction to take for the hotel. You need to walk through "Luchtbergstrasse", which is, once you get off the tram behind you on your left. At the end of Luchtbergstrasse you find the hotel.

Alternatively you find a cab rank in front of both exits of the main train station, a taxi ride costs approx. Euro 10,00.

by car

From the motorway A1, coming from the North:

At the motorway junction “Autobahnkreuz Bremen“ change onto motorway A27 direction to Bremerhaven / Cuxhaven. Please leave the motorway A27 at the exit Bremen – Überseestadt. Keep now following the signs to Häfen / Überseestadt. Just after the fly-over, behind the bridge leave the road at the exit Häfen / Überseestadt. Go straight at the traffic lights which will automatically get you onto the Hansestrasse. After about 800 m on the Hansestrasse you will reach a large crossing. Please turn right here into Nordstrasse, following the direction „Industriehäfen“. Stay on this main street (it changes its name into Bremerhavener Strasse) for about 3,5 km. After about 2,5 km you will see a long cemetery wall on the right hand side, about 500 meters after you passed the wall, the Garden Hotel will be on the right hand side of the street. Please leave the main street turning right into the Luchtbergstrasse in front of the hotel building. WELCOME - You have now reached the GARDEN HOTEL! You can park your car on the designated spaces around the building.

From the motorway A1, coming from the South:

Please leave the motorway A1 at the exit: Bremen Arsten /Centrum. You are now automatically on a dual carriageway B6. Follow the B6 direction Centrum. When you passed the underbridge, the street name changes into Neuenlander Strasse. Follow this road for about 2 km, until you see a sign for motorway A281. Turn left there and follow the A281 direction Cuxhaven / Bremerhaven / Oldenburg / Centrum. Leave the A281 at the first exit Neustadt / Centrum / Messe. At the traffic lights turn left, following direction Neustadt / Centrum / Messe. You are now on the B6 / dual carriageway and will cross the river Weser. Directly after you crossed the Weser, keep right and exit the dual carriageway into direction Walle / Überseestadt / Centrum - on the exit stay on the left lane direction Überseestadt / Häfen. You will now automatically be on the Hans-Böckler-Strasse (multi-lane road). Stay on this main street (it changes its name into Nordstrasse and the into Bremerhavener Strasse) for about 3,5 km. After about 2,5 km you will see a long cemetery wall on the right hand side, about 500 meters after you passed the wall, the Garden Hotel will be on the right hand side of the street. Please leave the main street turning right into the Luchtbergstrasse in front of the hotel building. WELCOME - You have now reached the GARDEN HOTEL! You can park your car on the designated spaces around the building.

Coming from the motorway A27:

Please leave the motorway A27 at the exit Bremen – Überseestadt. Keep now following the signs to Häfen / Überseestadt.
