The surroundings, including Lake Toya where the G8 Summit was held in 2008, Mt Usu, an active volcano, Showashinzan, a special natural monument, and Sobetsu Onsen Spa, makes it easy for travelers to enjoy all the nature that Hokkaido has to offer. Showashinza YH also has its own onsen spa in its inside and it is 100% natural and available for all YH guests.

Available rooms are twin rooms, triple rooms, quadruple rooms, and rooms for more than 6 guests and all rooms are equipped with Internet access either through LAN cable or wireless. YH facilities and services include onsen spa, restaurant, lounge, vending machine, coin-operated laundry, parking, garden, and rental bike.
