Higgin's Inn has 3 private suites as well as the hostel floor. We're a smoke and drug free environment especially suited to families. We have our own daughter and grandchildren in the top floor suite who love to greet our guests and extend our welcome.

Our ground level hostel includes two large rooms that we use for concerts, quilting bees and family reunions. There's a large fully equipped kitchen and single wheelchair accessible bathroom with shower.

The beds stack for daytime activities. It's bright and seems to be part of the garden. We provide "sleeping bag sheets and blankets, towels and laundry facilities. You can book it all for private use or enjoy the camaraderie of other guests.

Coming north from Vancouver follow the Sunshine Coast Highway 101. Two ferry crossings take you well away from city noise and pressures. The Coast Mountains, fjords and islands along the way start your transformation From the docking of the second ferry Higgin's Inn is just 15 km. Look for our sign and turn south on Donkersley Road. The only cross road is Douglas Bay Rd. Turn right and we're right there.

Coming from Vancouver Island, turn right after exiting the ferry onto Marine Ave./ Hwy 101 and follow the Sunshine Coast Highway to the city limits then clock 12 km to the Black Point area. You'll pass the Black Point Store, the firehall, round two more corners and you'll see our sign. Turn right and head toward the beach.
