Au sujet Hideout

24 years ago, Sangeeta and Hemant Chhabra have started HideOut with the intention of creating a space where they could feel close to nature and at one with themselves.

From a barren land, they developed organic agriculture and a luxuriant orchard.

This simple rural retreat met great success with relatives, friends, the word spread from ear to mouth so much that ultimately they opened their door for guests.

Share the “HideOut Experience” for a refreshing, energizing and revitalizing getaway…

Not so far from Mumbai , it's a charming organic farm retreat just two hours from Mumbai, settled in the Western Ghats, at Jhadhpoli tribal hamlet, 25 km east of Manor.

Beauty in all seasons, year round waterfalls and streams, the timeless flow of nature in a warm and friendly environment.

At HideOut, we offer the opportunity to relax, rejuvenate and reach into their inner selves for healing, wellness and oneness with nature.

We strongly believe in the values of sharing, caring and loving.

We value a very simple, healthy lifestyle which is based on correct nutrition, adequate rest and curative therapies such as yoga, massage and meditation.

Activities are aimed at nature & environment, local culture and handicrafts, natural health and holistic wellbeing.

We endorse organic farming and agro-tourism.

Slow down here to a rustic rhythm that follows the farm's natural cycles.

There is time out to do nothing at HideOut, to be with ourselves, with each other, to think, to read, to speak of the silly and the sublime... to slip gently into wandering around, walking, swimming, floating in the dam, soaking in a waterfall...

Or time to gain some rural perspective with a round of activities...

The farm:

Walk around our organic farm, identifying fruiting, foresting trees, medicinal plants, and exotic vegetables. Down to earth, learn about organic fertilizers, vermi-composting and natural pesticides, irrigation...

Star gaze in the clear nights.

Take time for yoga and meditation.

Indulge into a relaxing massage (ladies).

Evening bonfires.

Special events:
