A cheap and cheerful B&B; I have no complaints about it other than that its name is not advertised on the outside of the building, and it took me a while wandering up and down the street to find it.
The description on this site says that all the rooms are double bedrooms; the one I stayed in, at the end of the corridor, was a single.

Ideally located just 300 metres from the Vatican and St. Peter's Square, our B & B has been completely renovated. All the main attractions including Navona Square, Pantheon, Campo de Fiori, Spanish steps, Forum, Colosseum and more are all within walking distance as are the host of pubs and restaurants in the locality.
Each of our three bedrooms has a double bed (with the possibility to add an extra one in two of them), ensuite bathroom, satelliteTV, air conditionig and radio. A kitchenette is at disposal. Breakfast is self service. They also overlook a garden. Linen and towels are changed every three days , daily cleaning.
We can pick you up. If you wish to avail of this service you must contact us at least five days prior to arrival to arrange. And our staff speak English, French and Spanish.

The description on this site says that all the rooms are double bedrooms; the one I stayed in, at the end of the corridor, was a single. The room is basic: small, and lacking a chair, wardrobe and chest of drawers; but given that I was scarcely spending time in the room, the first of these didn't matter; and there were enough other surfaces to spread my clothes out on that the second didn't matter to me either. (Obviously, if you're looking for a three-star hotel, this isn't the place to go for!) The room was clean and well-lit, with pine flooring and furniture.
The bathroom, also small, included a shower, but not a bath.
A housekeeper visited at eight o'clock to serve breakfast; she spoke no English, but the owner was available at the end of a 'phone if needed.
I didn't try out the satellite TV (I didn't come to Rome to watch TV!), so can't vouch for it; nor did I use the air conditioning (preferring to use the window shutters to keep the place cool).
The hotel is across the road from a small suburban railway station; but the area was not noisy, and I did not have problems with noise sleeping with the window open.
All in all, I'm satisfied with what they offered, and would happily go back there again.
