The location is very ideal, because it's nearby Re di Roma metro station. In August this metroline was closed, due to construction. We could take the bus to the centre, so there was no problem.
The hotel is nearby shops and a supermarket.
The room was small but I liked the interior (kind of cute). TV was broken. There was a small kitchen (incl. fridge) we could use, nothing fancy but suited to make a simple meal for two.
The bathrooms are very nice.
Did not like the Breakfast. There was a basket with prepackaged croissants, toast, crackers and marmelade in our room when we arrived. We also got a pack of milk and orange juice. This was our breakfast.
There was staff waiting for our check in. After that we haven't seen any staff. There are ways to contact them though.
When we arrived we had to pay 170 instead of 150 euro's. He said it was a tax. The website indicates the price is including tax though, but we just payed.

A pretty good hostel considering it was decently priced (for Rome). The proprietors were really nice. There are shared bathrooms, but there are two of them for only a few rooms, so there was never a wait. There is hot water in the showers, and you are provided towels, linens, and breakfast. It is not in the city center, but it is really close to a metro stop. The only problem with that is that the metro stops running at 9 pm, so you have to walk or take a bus after that. No one works at a front desk there, so you will have to call when you arrive to be let in. I would just call from the metro station when you arrive.
Not at all fancy, but its a place to sleep and I felt very safe there.

King Square is a good value for money - quite close to Colosseum and historical city centre.
The B&B is a converted apartment, therefore there are both big and small rooms - ours was really big, with two windows - which caused a lot of noise during the night. Nevertheless, we were so tired after all day walking through Rome that this was not a big bother.
The "breakfast" is too big a word for a little croissant, some cornflakes and milk.
All in all we were satisfied with our stay - it is a perfect place when you don't intend to stay in the hostel a lot of time during the day - just a place for a night's sleep.
It is good to write an email before arriving and state the hour when you will come - the owner does not live in the apartment and he has to come to give you the keys.
Also - check the keys - one of ours did not work and we had to call the owner in the evening and wait for him to provide another one. However, he came really fast and we didn't have to wait long.
