LOCAL CITY TAX

For all guest bookings with the period of stay from 1st January 2011 onwards, a local tax of 2,- Euro per person per day must be paid. It will be added to the final amount of your reservation and should be paid in cash only in the hotel.

Hotel was a fairly good value for the price. Limited breakfast, awful machine coffee, next door at the Hotel Des Artistes was included, but the building and the room were quite cold and the heat didn't seem to work. Also, no guest computer with internet was available, only paid wifi. The area itself seemed relatively safe, but as all areas around urban train stations, some streets seemed iffier than others. It's not a boutique hotel (which in my mind implies a certain level of charm and design). It's a few budget rooms in what seems to be an apartment building and home to other hotels and hostels. That said, for a private, clean room with a private bath and breakfast in Rome city center, I feel the price was fair enough. In a pinch I would consider staying again.
