Dorm rooms: AGE LIMIT: 35 years! The hostel has the right not to accept a booking for a dorm bed if over 35 years old. (Attention: any deposit paid in advance in this case remains non-refundable).For an extra supplement if possible , a private room can be reserved.Private rooms: no age limit. (Minimum age: 18 Years) We do NOT accept families with underage children, thank you.

Important Information:
AGE LIMIT for the dorms: 35 years!! Private rooms NO age limit.
- Check-in time is from 16:00
Currently our reception is closed from 13:00 until 16:00 (if we are there you can already store your luggage inside) and reception is also closed between 23:00 - 07:30 am. (for early birds: key card disposal available!)
No lock-out nor curfew: : 24hrs access with keycards to your room!
- Check-out time from hostel is at 11:00 am
- We make no difference in price & allocation between 4-bed and 6 -bed dorms, some rooms have a bathroom in the dorm room others have a bathroom shared with other rooms. Some rooms are smaller, some are bigger. Allocation is upon our availability.
-A triple room consists of one double bed for two people and one single bed!
-There is a 1,5% charge for payments with creditcard.
(credit cards are only accepted for a minimum amount of 200€)
- To maintain the philosophy of our hostel we do not accept large group bookings.
Large group bookings are considered > 6 people.

very nice hostel, room for two so good

It has a good location, It‘s easy to find it, and we need only 6 minutes walking to the Gran Plaza. And it is near to the subway station. It has a kitchen but doesn't offer breakfast it just offer coffe o chocolate to drink for the breakfast. It is a good choice when you travel to Brussel.

It is a okay hostel but very primative. Free use of computer is a good thing. A great place to meet young people.

Great place to stay. Clean and spacious rooms which had a clean ensuite. Bunk beds were comfortable. Free internet and small but useable kitchen and lounge area. Really enjoyed stay there and close to Nord train station and metro/tram stations. Nice, friendly helpful service.

Updated review from Feb 2010: This hostel has decidedly gone downhill in the last two years. Rooms had a bad smell, bedside lamps were non-functional, bathrooms had mold. Staff also seemed pretty disinterested, bordering on rude. (Of course that could've just been them having a bad day.) The place still has a lounge with good atmosphere, and the benefit of a kitchen (if now with an almost total lack of cups), but all the same, I'm knocking off two stars from cleanliness, one from service, and one from overall.
Original review from Feb 2008: This hostel managed to impress me both times I stayed here. Great facilities and decent atmosphere. The self-catering kitchen is tiny: but at least it's there, and they've got free WiFi, which is always a plus. I don't really like the street it's on, and as it's halfway between Gare du Nord and the city center, it's not _quite_ convenient for either - but that's basically nitpicking.
