This clean hotel was a good value for our money. Location was ok, it was even possibly to walk to downtown. If you like drink a beer or two at a local, this is not maybe your choice because neighborhood was muslim with their tearooms. We liked the atmosphere, however.

Notre établissement est sous la direction personnelle de la famille Vanbelle et vous y trouverez un accueil personnalisé et attentif de la part de notre équipe. L'hôtel est situé à 1600 mètres de la Grand'Place and un service de navette est gratuitement mis à votre disposition en soirée.
L'hôtel Van Belle met à disposition trois salles de restaurant, des salles de conférence ainsi qu'un spacieux salon dans lequel vous pouvez vous relaxer. Peut-être préférerez-vous nos très confortables fauteuils dans notre bar.

SORRY BUT IT´S THE WORSE HOTEL IN THE WORLD , WHEN WE HAVE ARRIVED IN THIS HOTEL I THE RECEPTION TOLD US , THAT WE MUST PAY MORE THAN RESERVTION DON´T 10 EUROS , WE MUST PAY 100 EUROS , THEY EXPLAINED IS A MISTAKE AND WE NEED PAID FOR THEIR MISTAKE.

Every booking made through us is based on availability and pricing provided by the management of the property. The pricing is fixed at the point of booking, so the hotels are obliged to honour the booking at the set price. We have been in touch with the management of this property to ensure their routines are better and they don't let this happen again. They have also been issued a warning that this can't happen again.

Room smelled of smoke, dodgy neighbourhood, walking distance from city centre. Staff very friendly and allowed us to leave the car parked for the day

Directions
The hotel is situated 100m from the junction of Chausee de Mons with Boulevard Poincare, at Porte d'Anderlecht. This is easily recognized as it is the place where there are two monuments situated in the central reservation of this very wide boulevard. The hotel is on the right hand side of Chausee de Mons as you approach from this junction.
By car:
From the north turn right at the junction. There is a secure car park just before the hotel. Turn right into it and park outside the gates.
By public transport:
Get a train to Midi station. Most national and international trains call there and it is on the metro system. From here you can walk (it takes 20mins) or take the tram to Porte d'Anderlecht.
Walking from Midi station:
Leave the station concourse by the south exit (Av du Fonsy). Turn left, walk parallel to the railway until you reach traffic signals at Boulevard du Midi. Turn left under the railway. Straight ahead is Boulevard Poincare (very wide with trees in the central reservation). Porte d'Anderlecht is about 500m along this Boulevard, then turn left into Chausee de Mons.
Tram from Midi station:
Leave the station as above and on turning left you immediately encounter the tram station. Take a No.18 (Houba de Strooper) or 82 (Berchem) from the far platform. Porte d'Anderlecht is three stops from Midi, and Chausee de Mons is to your left as you alight from the tram. You pay the driver on boarding.
