The Judy House, Negril, Jamaïque

The Judy Houses Cottages are two clean, cosy, spacious, self-catering cottages, fully equipped and set in a gorgeous, private tropical garden, off the West End Road in Negril.

'One 4 the Road Backpacker Hostel', nestling at the back of the Judy House property in the heart of the garden, is a small hostel with five small, popular, self-catering backpackers' rooms (with three single rooms, a two-bed dorm and a three-bed dorm) which have their own outdoor dedicated bathroom, kitchen and communal space. Please note that our hostel rooms are designed specifically for backpackers only, who are used to travelling with basic amenities. These are not cheap hotel rooms.

All cottages and rooms come with linens, towels and safes. There's free Wi-Fi for everyone but cable TV in the two cottages only. The kitchens are fully equipped throughout with stoves, fridges, microwaves, grill ovens, kettles, coffee makers, pans, pots and utensils, etc.

It's a great location, set in a friendly, local 'mixed' community. The community keeps some great social rules through the local Neighbourhood Watch like 'no harassing visitors and no loud music late!'

Our property is fenced and gated with timed outdoor lights and car parking. In the ¼-acre property you'll have plenty of privacy but are welcome to use other areas of the garden if you wish, including the BBQ, communal table, sun deck, outside baths and shower.

Country and pretty, but only 10 minutes from the beach at West End Road, you can see the sea from parts of the garden. There's a local cook shop/bar close by and down the road there are local shops and lots of amenities, including a local beach, snorkelling, deep sea fishing, cliff restaurants and downtown shops and banks - not forgetting Negril's famous seven-mile, beautiful white sand beach.
