footeddhayes Very homely feel. Nice atmosphere and nice people running it. Very impressed! May return one day. However, the location just lets it down a little, although a train station is very close by which is a real bonus. Only a few stations from central Toulouse.
naly_love1 The hostel on Rue Embarthe was very good. Nice workers meeting you are very nice and the service was good. However, the person, who owns this place is not very nice. I won't go into details, because this will take too long, but do not agree to be placed in Anex, which is the branch of Compostelle! There lives the owner and he is rude, abnoxious git!
tompbrynol This is an excellent cheap and cheerful place to stop off if you are travelling down to the south of France. The owner was very helpful (even tho we were late he left the key out for us). It's location is close to the airport (10 mins drive) and it was very cheap £30 per night for a double room. The owner spoke good English and was very helpful. There is also a very nice restaurant right next to the hotel (which serves lovely French dishes). The waiter was very helpful, he even threw in some free French lessons!

mtm38 For the price you pay, this hotel is basically the best you'll get. It's clean, it's near the city centre and train station, it's not noisy at night (although the room we had didn't face the main road), the rooms are a reasonable size. The bathroom is clean but not swish (bath, sink, toilet, no shower but there was a shower head attached to the tap which wasn't wall mounted), but for 20ish Euros a night it's really good. Overall it was good value for money and the service was good-helpful staff etc. And there is free wifi. If the prices stay the same, I'd go again. :)
