wndysmp This hostel is what all hostels should be. It has a friendly and inviting atmosphere, helpful and happy staff, easy to find and get to, and in a good area of the city. The rooms are clean and spacious, individually decorated and very quirky. The young staff know their city very well and there is a great social program on offer - both day trips and nightlife. I am a backpacker of the older variety (50+) but I also felt very comfortable here. Wish I had found this place when I still had the energy to party.

goedele It is a very nice and clean place to stay. the environment was 'pittoresque' . Altstad and Neustad can b e reached easely, in about 10 minutes. downstairs is a very good little place to eat . Also in the neighbourhood some good and cheap places to eat. Only a pity there is no parking place. I liked it, will shure go back!

t_maia This hostel rocks! Great place with a cool and spacious kitchen, clean, great lounge, free internet, friendly staff and best of all - cool atmosphere and great interior design. They are not in the old town, but since almost all hostels in Dresden are clustered around Neustadt train station this is no big draw back. As a matter of fact they are very close to Dresden-Neustadt train station, thus being more conveniently located than others. If you stay around Neustadt train station you'll have easy access to Saxon Switzerland and to most of the trains to Prague. Short, the Kangaroo stop is my new favourite hostel.
