Chris.M This is one of the best hostels you are likely to come across. The venue, the facilities and the service are all top of the range. The communal area with the real "living" trees inside the building was one of the highlights. The bar and the full continental breakfast are excellent additions to what is one of the best hostels in Munich and possibly Germany.
BRussell Excellent location, excellent bar...just a bit of a high price compared to other hostel's I've stayed in.
hokum93 A fantastic hotel, not too far from the centre of Munich. The staff were very helpful and most of them spoke very good English. The rooms were very well priced and the breakfast offered a wide range of good food. we strongly recomend this hotel and would stay there again. Thanks for our enjoyable stay. Percy & Sue.
andre.lero Hotel Am Nockenberg is reasonably close to the subway, the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are first class. The only detractor for me is the fact that WIFI/Internet connectivity is not included and is very costly if you need it.
mdbernadette It exudes a home-y atmosphere. Really cool. And transport to and from the place is easy. The hotel is also very clean. Staff was friendly. I suggest they include an English news channel on TV. To make us in touch with the world. I suggest too that environment protection reminders be posted in the room.
Elisa82 Nice hostel, I stayed in a private room but it was comfortable and clean. Good location because next to hauptbahnhof so well connected to the center by subway. Large and various breakfast!
petigr This is a great place, with a great staff in the heart of Munich! I recommend it for everyone who would like to get a warm welcome, friendly, kind and helpful staff, and not to mention the delicious breakfast! CVJM/YMCA is simply great!
ismetsamat The room was nice and clean. Everything was there and there's a lot of shops downstairs where you can get your food. Free Internet through WiFi or you can use your cable if you wish. It's not that central but you can get the tram, train (S-Bahn), underground train (U-Bahn) and also bus to get to downtown.
vanessa Good hostel, nice locaiton - walking distance to the train station (abt 10 mins) and to the city center (abt 15 mins). Very big hostel, so has busy reception and was full ( August is busy time). New self-catering kitchen, elevator (sometimes stops work), pretty clean. For locker, towel, additional key and almost everything else need pay deposite, shits are included. Dorm for 14 beds has only 2 restrooms (WC and shower in each one) - it's not really enough, especially busy at mornings. I liked lamps near each bed and big lockers in the room.
