Was absolutely wonderful! The staff and owners were extremely helpful. My room was kept impeccably and probably had the best shower and toilet/plumbing I've ever had in all of Europe.
Villa Evgenia is a very clean, friendly and well run hotel... I highly recommend it because it is very good value and only 10minutes walk to the centre of Fira (main town). We have stayed at many hotels on our trip around Greece this summer and Villa Evgenia has been the best!
The owner and his wife are very helpful, and recommended us a great restaurant close to the villa when we were out in Fira (the main town). The location's really nice, next to Perissa Beach, which is a beautiful black sand beach. It's not crowded and wasn't touristy when we went, which we appreciated.
very friendly and helpfull owner. Clean and comfortable rooms. Location is close to town centre but in a quit street just outside the tourist area. We had a very pleasant stay.
1) Owner: Epitomises greek hospitality. Gregarious, helpful and knowledgable. He received me at the airport in his van. Also... there was a system error and I was quoted a lower price than their actual... Although the system was that of an intermediary... he gave me credit and let the faulty rate proceed 2) Location: Santorini is a long island. The north has Oia... definitely pretty and where pics of Santorini are taken. But its too remote and best to visit and get back rather than stay.... the south has a few beaches of interest as they're all of different colors owing to deposits from different volcanos. The central part has Fira, the most happening town and near the port from where the volcano tour departs.. The hotel is just outside Fira on facing the sea, which means it is fabulously located for travelling anywhere, feels safe at any hour AND has the scenery and silence of a special holiday 3) Facilities: Just a pool and simple breakfast, but if you're there to travel.. i guess you're not looking at spending more time than that in the hotel! DEFINITELY STAY HERE!
Absolutely wonderful staff! Stellios and his family/staff were the most welcoming and inviting people we have meet in Greece! The hotel is seriously a 50 second walk to the beach, with great bars and cafes all along the beach. Exceptional value for money - 3 of us stayed for 3 nights - we only paid 40 euro each for our whole stay. Plus Stellios picks you up and drops you off to the port which makes life very easy! Highly recommended (I I have never given a place a 5 star recommendation in all categories ever before)... just do it :)
George and Stella are just the nicest people. We had a wonderful stay. The place is so clean and we had a fridge in our room and a grocery store very close by and George brought us coffee and juice every morning. George gave us lots of tips and pointed us in the right directions. Fira is an easy walk away and we rented a quad from a gentleman down the street which George recommended and it worked out incredible. Saw the beautiful sunset at IA although if you go, make sure to leave a little time to walk around because it really is beautiful. Oh and the pool area was really nice to. Just the kind of stay we were looking for. We actually travelled Europe for 3 weeks and this was our favorite place to stay and our favorite place to see. We Highly recommend it and would stay there again if we went back

We enjoyed our stay in Pension George. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the pick-up from the airport and drop off at the port were a Godsend. Our room was small but very clean and had the best bathroom I have ever had in Greece. It's about a 20 minute walk into Fira but a bus is available from the main road, about 5 mins away.
