I can't believe anyone would stay anywhere else in Thessaloniki. Our four bed dorm really was a private two bed and the lady at reception was one of those amazingly sincere kind and beautiful people that make traveling worth while. Can't recommend enough.

The best thing about Rent Rooms was the staff team. They were helpful and knowledgeable about the area and showed an interest in us as individuals. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. My one improvement would have been to have more choice in the breakfast menu or to have the option of a reduced nightly rate without breakfast.
Hotel Avra was a lovely place for my family to stay! The communication was great before and during our stay. They worked very hard to meet our needs and went out of their way to accommodate us! The location and newly renovated rooms were beautiful! We would definitely return, and recommend it to anyone who travels to the Thessaloniki area!
Great location - opposite the bus station. Clean sheets and towels, but our room badly needed new carpet on the floor! Great breakfast. Helpful management. Hop on hop off bus from The White Tower great value and a neat way to get around Thessaloniki.
Good value if you are just looking for a relatively comfortable bed to sleep it at the end of the day. Not so good for those with their own vehicle and find Thessaloniki's roads a bit busy/harrowing as the hotel is right in middle of city traffic and parking is on another block. Hotel is a bit on the shabby side - our room looked a bit tired and was in need of a repaint. Staff could be friendlier/more helpful but then, you get what you pay for. Dont have too high expectations and you should be ok.
