The Wanderer We stayed at Las Gardenias because we wanted to have an early start for our tour of Tikal. The Hotel was clean and had 3 double beds in the room. The air conditioning worked well and was quiet, there was plenty of hot water. The restaurant served good fresh local food.Everyone on staff was very pleasant and helpful, especially Edgar who speaks good English, he arranged our tour and lunch for the day. Be aware that the hotel is on the main road and traffic starts at 5.30am when the tour buses begin their day.
