krishnabal Don Fernando and Jeanette are great hosts. Senor Fernando came to the airport to receive us with a placard. He was extremely nice and drove us to his home late in the night. This was great since we were 4 adults and a child. Both husband and wife took great trouble to see that we were comfortable. This couple knows how to be hospitable. On the first night, there were some loud people talking in the street. After we brought this to the attention of Senor Fernando, the problem was immediately addressed.

markalleyn This hotel is conveniently located beside the international airport in Guatemala City, so it is perfect if you have a short stop-over. But it is distant from the "zona viva", where all the good restaurants and nightlife are. There is no phone in the room, so it is not that suited for a business traveler. The staff seemed quite courteous and friendly. The place (located in a residential neighborhood) also has a good working relationship with a reliable taxi driver who lives next door and that is very helpful. The wireless internet works fine and there are plenty of channels on the TV in the room (in English and Spanish).
