sbjessbass It was a nice place if you wanted to have a very relaxing stay on a seaside and avoid the busy Kuta/Legian/Seminyak area. Shirley, the owner was very nice and helpful. A tv in a room would be helpful because there's nothing much to do at night around the area for a non-pub goers like myself.
menard.astrid For backpackers on a budget, this must be the best acomodation. The swimming pool is great. Only drawback : you need to cross a dangerous highway to reach the beach. Otherwise, I had a great time in Sanur and at Big Pineapple. Would recommend it.

stephector Nick's Homestay is owned by a nice family and the place is really beautifull. The garden is amazing and they birds that sing early morning si that you wake up with their son,g.. They also have young and lively children who wake pretty earlu as well so if you're looking for a very quiet place like in a hotel, you'll be disappointed! Bear in mind that this is a family who welcome you at home! The only problem is that the guy who welcomed me didn't tell me that I had free access to a swimming pool in the village because he couldn't speak english... so it's very upsetting considering that the temperature was more than 30° and during 6 days no one told me! I only knew it when the owner gave me the card of the homestay to promote the place! Moreover, I have never been told about the internet access... and the day after I arrived I also found a small whole in the curtain (I am a woman travelling alone)... So I would say that the place is nice and the services are great if you are told about them!... I think the staff is not very professional and they should have english lessons because when you call them to make sure about the reservation the guy tells you he doesn't have a reservation for you!... and that he doesn't how you can reach the homestay from the airport!... Be also careful because their neighbour have a quiet agressive monkey who escape and then you meet him the homestay alley...
jekaterina This hostel is great value for money! a bit far away from the beach but there are quite a few nice bars/restaurants around. People are extremely nice and helpful.

astuckey I found Jati Homestay a lovely place with friendly & courteous staff. It was great to be staying within a Balinese family's home situation & observing the every day activities. The position was very convenient with interesting local shops in the surrounding streets. I hope to return for another longer visit& only a short walk to the main street in Ubud. Ann Australia
koonkhee Friendly staffs and location is quite queit. Just 2min walk there is a good restaurant called Lila Warung serve Balinese and Western foods. I don't see any TV but there is free WIFI both at pool side and office. I could not get the WIFI while inside my room.

darrentoml very friendly staff adam/bimbu a true star. we got them cooking some good food by the end. the rooms all have leaking roofs when it rains. the god damn cockerals send you insane some days. take plenty of dvd`s for rainy days, as the tv has no english channels. the new sink in the garden makes shaving possible now. thanks all for a differnet expieirence.
