annew The room/bathroom was extremely unclean and dated. The bed linens were very old, musty, and stained. There was carpet in the room which needed cleaning. There were spider webs on the light fixtures and hairs in the bathroom. However a nice breakfast of toast/cereal/yogurt/cheese was included.

darcyfd The best hostel I've stayed at in Ireland so far, and definitely the best "vibe" - atmosphere, people, house etc. - hostel I've ever stayed in. However it is far too cold in winter, especially compared to the other places I've been. The dorms and bathrooms are simply not warm enough and it can be very uncomfortable getting up and showering in the morning. Also potential guests should be advised on the website that there are two house cats that live in the hostel. Although I love cats and was very happy they were there, you should be considerate of other people who may have allergies. Aside from these two quibbles it really is a magnificent place to stay in a magnificent part of the world. It is one of the few hostels I would be happy to go back to.
maudrye Lovett's hostel is a little house at the owners'! There is not always somebody present in the house... The rooms and dormitories are comfortable !!! No breakfast but a small kitchen you can use whenever you want.
