hamishx Absolutely fantastic B&B, faultless. Food was delightful as were all the staff. Would definitely visit again!
conorbudge555 What a nice place to stay! I felt right at home in this cozy house outside the main city. First the location wasn't in the middle of Galway city, which is a traffic nightmare, so to be a bit outside was a relief. Also, heading to Connemara or the Burren is no problem form this place. Second, the host a such a kind informative lady! Breakfast was great each morning, with choices of many different options- Trad Irish, pancakes, eggs, cereal, fruit... She keeps everything nice and tidy with each day we returned to our room with fresh sheets and lavender sprigs on the bed! I could not find any reason not to stay here. if my travels ever take me Galway way, I will definitely stay at the Abbey View again.
wesley24ja Good little hostel in a good location. Value for money with clean rooms and fine facilities. Nothing to fault about it really so would recomend to others. Oh yeah maybe the fact that you wern't supposed to have alcohol on the premisies made it a little annoying tho:)
cedricchan Hello, I am very satisfied of my stay in Snoozle hostel : good welcome, clean hostel, but i think it's just missing a table and a chair in the room, it should be handy. Thanks for all, Cédric Chantreau, from Nantes (France)
LOUISE.BOD we found the travelodge galway to be an ideal base for us to stay as we visited different places.it is situated in a good location and although we got lost we always were able to find our way back.rooms were clean & were a great price too.

mpmmfree The reception office was closed for the week when I stayed, so the staff kept in touch by phone and text re checking in and out. No toilet paper provided, nor towels - strange, because plenty of tea-towels were laid on. Have just checked the web info and it DOES say that towels are provided. Since the office was always closed that made it inconvenient to deal with such problems, so go when there are reception facilities. I was near to relatives so could borrow towels but it could be a shock to a tourist on their own in Galway! The kitchen was basic but adequately equipped, appliance easy to use etc. Good shower. Lightbulb blown in the shower when I arrived, and I didn't report it until I left as i was too busy coming and going. A good shopping centre is only minutes away on foot. While the checking of apartments before letting leaves a little to be desired, overall I would stay again as it is very cheap and clean.

albyrie I wouldn't normally bother filling these things in, but I gotta say I was impressed with the Western Hotel. I injured my back a few weeks back, and I had to travel to Galway for an exam. I would usually just stay in a hostel or somewhere cheap, but as comfort was essential, I looked at budget hotels. The room was huge, we booked a twin room and it had 2 double beds. The room was really comfortable, quiet and clean. The restaurant was great value and the food was good. I would have no problem recommending the Western Hotel to anyone. Central, clean and good value.
