ch37 Very nice and helpful staff. Rooms a bit spartanic but definitely good value for money. Location about 20 min from Jaffa gate in good area.
hilde.herman Excellent location near the old city (with beatiful walking path to the old city), very friendly people, car parking possibility, modest but very satisfying breakfast, not expensive
Peter52p It seemed money was more important than guests comfort. Beds mattreses and linen all need replacing as are past there use by date rooms are very small with poor ventilation on the good side great location for the old city and great view of Jerusalem from roof

LesBla WE enjoyed our stay very much. Good-sized rooms, dining room to prepare meals, roof terrasse and were able to wash clothes without a problem.
paulina_ha Very nice area, close to the main manuments. Rooms can be very interesting, it depends of your chance. Bathroom shrade could cleaner. For 14 euro it is ok.

mkorotko Keep in mind -- the hotel in East, palestinian Jerusalem part. So you don't see jewish people here, except police in heavy armored cars. But for me it also part of the trip. Very nice view from road, when you go to Old City and Western Jerusalem, but when you come back it maybe good idea go by taxi, instead trying to climb by foot. Hotel quite nice, but it's near mosque, so you may be woken up in early morning by muezzin call.

cascade74 AC was not working, but not a problem since the Jerusalem winds pick up at night and all the picture windows were on tracks that opened. Very nice at night and for sleeping. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts which I've partaken. Downside is the 40 NIS taxi ride to and fro to the Old City (or any where else)...and that the bathroom had soap dish not attached...and looked like it has been that way for a while. However, nice large rooms. Overall, I'm satisfied.
hckuun In this electonic age the excuse of not receiving an email notification of the cancelation of part of a booking is not acceptable. Added to this the fact that the cancelation was for the second and third nights and that notification was in fact more than 24 hours before the time. My impression of wanting to get as much as possible from guests was strengthened when on a second visit the ten minutes free internet was no longer available. The public relations of the staff/management would be totally unacceptable in most countries and was also not what I experienced elsewhere during a stay of 7 weeks in Israel.
