Please be informed that we will hold your room/bed for a maximum of 4 hours from the time that you had stated in your booking.
Please take note that we are a backpacker's hostel. All the facilities are on a sharing basis. Our place might not be suitable for anyone who is not used to the backpacking experience.
Due to a pre-WW1 house, Red Palm is not suitable for travellers below 13 years old and above 65 years old.

Looking for a place to hang out, relax, meet friendly faces and experience the cultural diversity and hospitality of Malaysia?
Red Palm is not a party hostel, it is a place where you can feel at home, relax and kick back in the middle of the bustling city.
We are a hostel for backpackers in Bukit Bintang, or the 'Golden Triangle' which is the major shopping and dining district. The food nearby ... don't get us started on this one ... mmmmh. You can even directly order food and drinks from the Indian restaurant next door through the fence without even having the leave our premises ;)
We are located in a historical colonial house and our guests always mention the homely atmosphere in the house.
We also offer broadband internet, printing, CD-burning, phone facilities, travel desk and tour excursions, laundry service, book swap corner and a shelf with tons of travel info for Malaysia and SE Asia. An ideal place to chill-out and socialize with other travellers and us, watch Satellite TV and DVDs or simply update your travel status to your family and friends. Breakfast is inclusive as well as tea and coffee all day long.
Free Wi-Fi or an hour free usage on Computer Terminals (nominal fee of RM4 for extra additional hour)
We are looking forward to sharing our cultural and travel experiences with you.

. Everbody is kind, it is super clean, they are helping you when you have any kinds of questions or problems and you can sit infront of the house to drink your coffee for free

It was my first stay in a backpacker's and I must say it was indeed a gute experience. Service was prompt and they are all flexible in payment and stay, so long as you pay up. Bed is nice and comfortable for a very reasonable price. I could hardly wake up on the 2nd night as it was way to good for me. Very well ventilated with fans and air-conditioned outside. Simply fantastic. If you ain't someone who complaints alot, this is the place for you. Basic facilities are met. Give it a try.

In transit for one night, I am very impressed with the helpfulness and delightful friendliness of the people at Red Palm. The guest house is clean and comfortable with modest amenities.

fantastic. very central location. excellent, helpful host. nothing too much trouble. good breakfast and great indian restaurant next door. order food and they deliver it to you. best laundry service ever. relaxed atmosphere and plenty to do. if you dont fancy going out, there are books and dvds to use. highly recommended
