We would not reccomend staying at Le Gentilly. It was definitely an experience but one we could have done without! On arrival the owner said he had no knowledge of our booking. When he finally opened the apartment it was filthy and in a state of disrepair. There were ants all over the kitchen including worktop and in the lounge plus the kitchen and shower had cockroaches. There was often no hot water at all and the toilets flushing mechanisms did not work.

Le Gentilly is 5 minutes walk from the sandy beach of Flic En Flac, close to various facilities such as banks, restaurants, cafe, night-clubs,and commuting. The family/friends focussed 3 appartments, amidst an exotic garden, each consisting of 3 bedrooms, one living room with TV,dining room, 2 bathrooms and a functional self-catering kitchen, will make your stay enjoyable and memorable.

The tourist resort of Flic En Flac is located on the West coast of Mauritius, which accommodates hotels such as Sofitel,and Hilton, among others. Its white sandy 1.5 KM long beach and blue lagoon will enhance your desire to walk and enjoy the calmness of the seaside.

The Sunset is superb to admire. You can also practise various water sports, including diving in water caves and wrecks ,adding delights to your stay. Facilities for eco-tourism are also available for those who like strolling and cycling.

You may also rent a car with us to visit interesting places on this paradise island. We can also arrange for your transfer from the airport to Flic En Flac and back.

We would not reccomend staying at Le Gentilly. It was definitely an experience but one we could have done without! On arrival the owner said he had no knowledge of our booking. When he finally opened the apartment it was filthy and in a state of disrepair. There were ants all over the kitchen including worktop and in the lounge plus the kitchen and shower had cockroaches. There was often no hot water at all and the toilets flushing mechanisms did not work. Doors were off their hinges and the shower curtain came out of the wall. There was not enough crockery or cutlery for six people which mattered little as neither was there adequate pans to cook in!!! The kitchen cupboards and fridge were unclean. Bedding and towels were said to be provided but there were no towels and the bedding was inadequate. We had to remove animal droppings from the beds. The fans above the beds were covered in very thick dust. Nowhere in the details did it say the bedrooms were accessed by a spiral staircase - this was not easy for the 80 yr old member of our party.
All in all I would reccomend giving Le Gentilly a very big miss.
