Established in the year 1964, Hotel New Bengal is located at the commercial center and also the main port of India, Mumbai.

it s ok close to the victoria terminal and a nice arabic neighberhooh(actuallly it s a big market all it) the place it s clean with aa cc and roof fan, the matress thin but ok and the breakfast ok but but but for my economy of travel it was too much expensive but it was a reserve on internet(1800 inr per night) in a individual room. The water was no hot but its not a problem with this weather
there s rooms in the front of the building and some interior(small window) and a nice balcony where to see the street and smoke a cigarret at night(or whatever)

When we arrived to the hotel I saw a rat next to the reception. I asked the clark if it was his pet but he did not take notice. The rooms are poor and quite dirty. The staf is big but most of them are standing next to the elevator. Probably waiting for your ride to the next floor - like sad dogs if you didn´t give them any tip. Instead the guests would be more happy if the cleaning or painting was OK.
They don´t know what service is. Something you expect as customer is not service - it´s the extra ordinary you may pay for.
The fan in the roof should have been replaced years ago etc.
