Benvenuti al Museum Inn, uno dei primi ostelli dell'Astor. E' stato il favorito di viaggiatori e guide turistiche per piu' di 20 anni,ospita ogni notte 75 persone. E' uno dei piu' piccoli ostelli dell'Astor ed e' forse questo che rende l'atmosfera cosi' familiare e divertente.
Quindi,perche' dovreste scegliere il Museum Inn?Perche' siamo nel cuore di Londra,si trova di fronte al British Museum e potete raggiungere semplicemente camminando Covent Garden,Oxford Circus,Soho,Trafalgar Square e la zona di teatri di West End(potete andare a piedi quasi ovunque e tornare in ostello senza dovervi preoccupare di dover aspettare gli autobus notturni). Se desiderate avventurarvi al di fuori del centro di Londra non avrete alcun problema. Potete scegliere tra tre stazioni metropolitanee(Russell Square,Toottenham Court Road,Holborn) e numerosi autobus,quindi e' anche molto semplice raggiungerci dall'aereoporto.
Le stanze al Museum sono confortevoli dormitori da tre a dieci letti, sono disponibili anche stanze doppie. I bagni e le docce,regolarmente puliti tutti i giorni, si trovano fuori dalle stanze su ogni piano.
Situato in una fantastica zona, con l'amichevole personale e la sua familiare atmosfera,questo ostello e' l'ideale per tutti i viaggiatori ed anche per piccoli gruppi di studenti.

Dall'aereoporto di Heathrow con la metropolitana:
Prendete la Piccadilly Line (linea blu) fino a Russell Square Station. Dalla stazione girate a sinistra,attraversate la Russell Square e troverete sulla sinistra la Montague Street.
Dall'aereoporto di Heathrow con l'A2 Airbus
Prendete l'A2 Airbus da Heathrow fino al British Museum.Dal Museo continuate lungo la Russell Street e girate a sinistra nella Montague Street.
Dall'aereoporto di Gatwick :
Prendete il Gatwick Express treno fino alla Victoria Station. Da qui potete usare la metropolitana,andate sulla banchina in direzione northbound della Victoria Line (linea azzurra)fino alla Green Park Station e cambiate in direzione northbound della Piccadilly Line (linea blu) fino a Russell Square. Dalla stazione girate a sinistra,attraversate la Russell Square e troverete sulla sinistra la Montague Street.
Dalla Waterloo Station:
Prendete la metropolitana,andate sulla banchina in direzione northbound della Northern Line (linea nera) fino a Leicester Square e cambiate sempre in direzione northbound della Piccadilly Line (linea blu)fino alla Russell Square Station. Dalla stazione girate a sinistra, attraversate la Russell Square e troverete sulla sinistra la Montague Street.
Dalla Victoria Station:
Prendete la metropolitana in direzione northbound della Victoria Line (linea azzurra) fino a Green Park e cambiate in direzione northbound della Piccadilly Line (linea blu) fino a Russell Square. Dalla stazione girate a sinistra, attraversate la Russell Square e troverete sulla sinistra la Montague Street.

It's a good place to meet new people, and it's really convenient to go anywhere (even British museum is just within 5 mins walk). It's a pity sometime the toilet is a bit dirty, and some of the bed are too small (but some are still really fine). And the isolation of noise is not very good, I will not recommend you if you need really quiet place for sleep. Overall it's worthy for the money, because they provide breakfast. They also have a fridge for keeping your own food.

I LOVED the staff at Astor Museum Inn! Everyone was so fun, helpful, and easy to talk to. There was a room just for watching dvds if you want to stay in, or a great nightly pub crawl if you want to go out. This is the only hostel pubcrawl I've been on that seemed to be worth the money. I had a blast here and highly recommend it! Spacious dorms with sturdy non-squeaky bunks. You may have to wait in line for the showers, but they'll always be hot! Great safe location convenient to 2 stops on the underground. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone!

Astor was a great place to stay in London. The most friendly receptionist staff I had while staying in hostels. They are willing to help you find anything you need and will get you to where you need to go. The breakfast is delicious too! I missed peanut butter so much and got a litte bit of home while staying at Astor. Woderful hostel that I would recommend to anyone.

Although I only stayed there for two nights, I was impressed by the friendly reception staff and the service they have offered. It's a relaxing and friendly place to make friends and meet other travellers. The breakfast is really great too. If I will go back to see London again, definitely I will go back to this hostel!

Very nice people there. Great atmosphere. Traveled alone and met some great people. Highly recommended. Just a few blocks from an underground station.

You get exactly what you pay. Perfect service and attention by young and friendly people. The location is perfect, next to the British Museum, in the center of London. The rooms are quite clean and the beds are comfortable. It's an old style building, so is mainly made of wood. It has heating. It's 5 minutes far from Holborn underground station.
If you don't mind much privacy (shared rooms, toilets and shower baths) and are young (between 18 and 35 years old), it is a good place to stay in London.
