The hostel is only a short train ride away from Cannes, Antibes and Monaco and there is a wide range of information available at reception about these places.
Rooms are clean and safe and all the beds are new!. There are fridges and microwave in every room
If you plan to check-in at midnight or later just let us know in advance.Once you are here there is NO CURFEW so you may come back at any time.

Great stay. Absolutely great staff, very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and so was the en-suite. 5 min walk from the beach, shopping and restaurants. 5 stars!!

GREAT location and the rooms even have mini fridges and microwaves! Unfortunately, it can get very loud at night when all the other travellers are around.

Stayed here for almost a week. It's in very good position about 5 minutes from the train station an maybe 2 minutes from the tram. It's quite easy to find. I don't have any major complaints and I would stay there again.

The staff are friendly and helpful here. The building and furniture are very old
and faded- but it is secure and has a quiet feel. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a
microwave, fridge, fan and desk. For a perfect stay, if you are fussy and staying a little longer, I would bring your own sheets
and perhaps some earplugs just in case you are unlucky with the room next door
Very friendly staff/owners who happily provided us with an assortment of plates, bowls, mugs etc and any information we were looking for. There was no kitchen or common room but renovation work to install these was taking place while we were staying there. Having a fridge and microwave in our room was great. Small but adequate bathroom with good shower and plenty of hot water. Good location really close to supermarkets, major train station and main streets. Unfortunately wifi wasn't working while we were there due to construction but owner was very apologetic. Good value for Nice.

Very friendly. They speak great english. They have laptops that you can borrow behind the desk. Great place highly recommended.

Paying 22 euros per diem for accommodation in a three bed room speaks for itself, when in Nice. I found both the proprietor and his wife both very helpful and responsive to to any enquires. Both were able to respond to questions asked in English and provide more than adequate explanations.
For its location and convenience it is central to both the Railway Station and the incoming bus from the Airport; for the first time visitor this is a plus!!
I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to anyone who required inexpensive overnight lodging.Merci mon ami

I have stayed in Pastoral for 3 days only but have to admit that enjoyed the whole duration. Although Pastoral is more hostel like, the service and conditions are excellent for the price I have paid. Located close to the train station, 15 min to the beach.Rooms in very good sizes, equiped with air conditioning, fridges, microwaves and free wifi!Would recomend to both families and young travellers.
The guy on the counter was very good.
Free internet and being able to borrow towels for the beach was good.
