Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and a beach bar with beer garden, the Cairns Beach House offers shared and private budget accommodation. Free Wi-Fi and free pick-ups from the bus terminal (on request) are included at no extra cost for all guests.
Facilities at Cairns Beach House Backpackers include a modern shared kitchen, fully equipped laundry and free secure luggage storage. The hostel offers regular free transfers to the city centre including an early shuttle to the Reef Fleet Terminal for all Great Barrier Reef trips departing from the Cairns.
Guests can relax on sun loungers by the large saltwater pool, watch the latest sport on our outdoor projector screen, or play pool in the shade by the bar. Cold drinks and the latest music are served in the beer garden from midday til late. Evenings always offer something new, with theme parties, events, and weekly quiz nights to get everyone involved.
All rooms include ceiling fans and air conditioning and feature en-suite bathrooms. Bed linen is provided and towels are available for hire on request.
The Cairns Beach House is located just 1600 metres from Cairns city centre and the Cairns Esplanade Lagoon. The tour desk specializes in Great Barrier Reef cruises and Daintree Rainforest tours, as well as Australian and New Zealand backpacking packages.
