Are you looking for a place to relax, breathe fresh air, and interact with amazing minds from all over the world? The BOLA HAUS DER KULTUREN is the place for you! Easily accessible by car or public transport, BOLA is the optimal place for those who wish to live and sleep in the peace of nature, but also wish to have access to the surrounding region.

Previously a nature house, Bola Kulturhostel Ruhr is a freeing and relaxing place located in the heart of the Ruhr Region, a dynamic region with many cultural, scientific, economic and leisure activities.

We have a variety of comfortable rooms to choose from all of which come with fresh, clean linens. Dorm facilities have shared bathrooms while private or double rooms come with private bathrooms.

The house is a non-smoking area. Smoking is permitted on the roofed veranda.

Dogs are not permitted.

Seminars and parties can also be held in our large multi-purpose room.

The hill-top location in the forest provides beautiful panoramic views of the nature park, all of which can be viewed from our covered veranda or explored on foot.

If you can play instruments, you are welcome to use ours; all musicians and art performances are welcome & encouraged!

In the BOLA HOSTEL you can follow courses of yoga, meditation, massage, healing, as well as Media Production (Music and Video), cultural management and communication. You also can book lessons in different musical instruments given by professional artists and teachers.

The hostel is partnered with a cultural center so you will often find a variety of cultural programs, events, and people on the grounds working, relaxing, and creating.
 BOLA Haus der Kulturen, Academy and Hostel Ruhr has a long tradition.
It is a place where culture, arts, music and video projects can be mixed to create a unique feeling.
