The apartment is in a very beautiful old building, although we did have a little trouble locating it within the maze of stairways and landings. The building seems very secure, with key-coded locks and a guard permanently at reception, although none of the guards I encountered spoke any English, which made it quite confusing (for all involved!) to initially check in.

A really fun and an ideal place to stay in Budapest is Budapest Royal Apartment.

The apartment is located in a gorgeous old building called 'Royal Rent-Palace'. It was built for high-ranking state officials in the turn of the 19th century.

Apartment 1 (Royal1st) has a large room with a little balcony that offers an exciting view onto the 'Clotild Palace' towers (a well-known landmark of the city), 'Parisian Garden' and the 'Elisabeth Bridge'. The famous shopping street Váci utca is right around the corner as well as restaurants, cafés, shops and theaters.

River Danube is a short walk away. The apartment is bright due to its huge window. The location offers you so much fun!

Apartment 2 (2ndRoyal)has a room with 2 big windows and shower in the bathroom. We provide clean sheets, blankets, pillows and towels. Kitchenette is fully equipped (micro, stove, plates, and dishes). Ceiling is over 4 meters high. The apartments have cable TV and 24 hours reception.

They are one room apartments with kitchenette, hall and bathroom. They have double bed or single beds available, with extra beds possible.

PLEASE NOTE: We require a minimum stay of 2 nights.

The apartment is in a very beautiful old building, although we did have a little trouble locating it within the maze of stairways and landings. The building seems very secure, with key-coded locks and a guard permanently at reception, although none of the guards I encountered spoke any English, which made it quite confusing (for all involved!) to initially check in.
The apartment is very clean, with high ceilings and a nice view from the window, although the kitchen/bathroom facilities are a little basic. Overall though, I'm pleased with it and would say I got good value for my money. It's in a great location for exploring the centre of Budapest and I would use it again.

Great location. Accommodation was a bit small and could have done with some proper curtains and newer towels but at the price paid good value overall.
