Hotel ARCUS is a lovely family hotel located in a quiet street only a 10 minutes walk from center of Bratislava – the Old town

It was established in 1993 in a residential building, which was returned to its original owner through the restitution process. The building was constructed in 1929 by Professor V. Chlumský, a renowned orthopaedist working in Prague, Paris and Bratislava.

Walach family, who is running Hotel ARCUS reconstructed the original building, modernised it and brought it to its present form gradually beginning in 1993. Since 2001 Hotel ARCUS has met the three-star Garni hotel criteria. Two new floors were added in the same year, and the hotel’s old interior was completely redone, based on plans by FM Design Company. The reconstruction and modernisation of hotel was carried out with an eye toward preserving its historic character and appearance

Hotel ARCUS’s priority is preservation of the original architecture, thanks to which the rooms are uncommonly spacious and have high ceilings. The hotel has 13 rooms, 2 of them single-bedded and 11 double-bedded.

For families with children, we offer large rooms with optional rollaway bed. All rooms are arranged in a distinctive style, and some offer their own loggia as well. Each room is equipped with a work table, telephone, television, radio, mini-bar and bathroom. Bathrooms are either large and luxurious, with various types of tubs or standard with shower stalls.

All hotel rooms are non-smoking. Guests who smoke may take advantage of an open terrace with seating.

The name of nearest airport is Bratislava international airport and we are approximatly 15 minutes away and it will cost 7 Euro. Bus number 61 will bring you from the airport to the hotel and you will need to come off at Tranavske Myto and it will cost 70cent.
