Recanto dos passaros is a quiet family run pousada set in large grounds on the edge of lencois. Recently fully refurbished through out all our rooms are comfortable and have a great view,

There is a wide variety of fruit trees which attract many birds and regular monkey visitors

Recanto dos passaros is a haven of tranquillity 10 minutes walk out of the centre of lencois, where guests from all over the world are welcome.

There is a large communal salon, where breakfast is taken which guests can use to relax or chill out at any time as well as the large gardens.

There is a barbeque area and oven in the garden which guests are free to use.

There are 6, garden apartments all with double beds and some with a single as well,

All have a good view, private bathroom, ceiling fan, TV, and hammock area.

We also have one two room apartment which sleeps up to 5, 1 one double and 3 single beds, again with fan, TV, and private bathroom. All room rates include our great breakfast, comprising of many local and national treats, along with the usual fruits and breads.

We also have plenty of room for campers, who want to pitch close to the pousada, or way off into the trees.

By car, on entering lencois pass the only gas station in town, 100m after the road turns to cobbled stone turn 180 degrees right at this point, the road runs parallel but slightly up hill to start with. Carry on straight for approx 300m to the end of the cobbles, our pousada is on your left now
