Hotel America is situated in a top and strategic location, in one of the beautiful street of Milan, full of shops, stores, and clubs.
This excellent position, optimally served by bus, tram and subway, allows reaching important places of the city in few minutes, like The Central Station and the down town, where there is the most important monument of Milan: The Dome.
Linate airport is only seven minutes far from the hotel. Also Malpensa and Orio al Serio airports are easy connected to the hotel area.
Rooms are wide, well cleaned with good furniture. Hotel America allows you to stay in a top location with cheap prices.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We only stayed here for one night, but would definitely stay here again. The room we had was spacious and clean. There was free wi-fi available from the room. There was also free breakfast included in the price which was adequate to start the morning.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is great as it is a short bus ride from the central station on bus 92 which stops close to the intersection where the hotel is.
The tram 27 which takes you into Milan centre to Duomo Square etc. stops right outside the hotel.

For what you pay the hotel is very good. Rooms were very clean and staff were very friendly. Good location, 20-30 minuites walk into the centre or if thats too much a tram stops right outside.
Clubs and bars are quite a trek away, we had to get the tram there and walk quite a distance back. The only other negative is the brekfast, but for what you pay this is to be expected.
Overall I highly recommend the hotel and if visiting Milan again would happily stay at Hotel America.

As a one star breakfast was included. Minimal communal area available so no whwere to simply relax other than in your room.

This hotel is ideally situated with excellent transport links and close to the centre. The hotel is very basic but if you need somewhere to use as a base and somewhere to sleep during your stay in Milan it is excellent value for money and kept clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it is on a lovely little strip of shops. If you want a drink or snacks during your stay try the koala cafe at the end of the row, the service and price is fab, or after hours the kebab shop serves food and has a bar.
Remember that you get what you pay for and if you keep that in mind you will not be dissapointed.
