'General Conditions'

Guests cannot use the hostel for any commercial purposes.

Spire Hostel is not responsible for any bodily harm, theft, loss or damage to any personal effects.

Guests who have been evicted will not receive a refund.

Guests will be expected to reimburse the hostel for any damages caused by inappropriate behaviour. To do so inappropriate usage of any emergency equipments or system is a serious offence and will be subject of fine and termination of residency.

Inappropriate behaviour will result in eviction from the premises with no refund.

To book a bed for infants it must be requested by email previously and it maybe will not be accepted.

For security reasons some common areas are under video surveillance.

You must cancel with the hostel directly at least 48 hours before booking date or you will be charged the full booking amount for the entire duration of your stay.

'Check In'

New Arrivals can check into the hostel after 2pm each day.

Valid identification is a requirement. We accept a Passport, Photo ID and / or Driver's License. Management may request additional information as required from guests.

All rooms / dorm beds are payable in advance by 11:00am. Over holding is not permitted

'Check Out'

Departing guests must remove all of their belongings from their rooms by 11:00am

'Smoking / Alcohol / Drugs / Weapons'

Smoking is not permitted within the premises. Any guest found smoking within the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not receive a refund.

Consuming Alcohol or drugs within the premises is strictly prohibited. The management reserves the right to confiscate alcohol or drugs found on the premises.

It is prohibited to bring weapons of any kind into the hostel.

Violations of the above rules will result in immediate termination of residency.

Management has the right to refuse admission.

The Hostel has 4 floors in the building – total 11 rooms & 124 beds all dorms.

Guests can relax in our living room complete with comfy sofa, cable TV and free Wi-Fi in throughout the property, luggage room free of charge, small lockers for rent and vending machines and our. We also have communal modern kitchen with all appliances where guests can make themselves hearty meals or quick snack.

How To Get To Us!

From Airport

Bus Number 41 or 16A

These buses run approximately every 15 minutes. Travel to the last stop on Marlborough Street. The Shining Hostel is on Marlborough Street. Cost: €2.65

Bus Number 747 – From 5am-11:30pm

An express bus service which runs every 15 minutes. It will take you to the O’Connell Street and to the main bus station, Busaras. Cost: €6.00

Aircouch Executive express bus – 24 service 7 days a week

An express bus service which runs every 15 minutes. It will take you to the direct to O’Connell Street. Cost: €7.00

Taxi

Will leave you outside the door of Spire Hostel. Approx cost: €20.00

From The Ferry Ports

From Dublin Port, there is a bus to the main bus station, Busaras. Turn on to Talbot Street and walk toward the City Center to the junction of Marlborough Street. Approx cost: €2.35

From Dun Laoghaire

Take the DART to Connelly Street Station and follow Talbot Street towards the City Centre to the junction with Marlborough Street. Approx cost: €2.30

From Busaras - Main bus station

Walk from the station on to Talbot Street and follow to the junction with Marlborough Street.
