We stayed at the Wombat Lounge for one night, and were very impressed.
We had a double room with en-suite, and it was much better and cheaper than all the other hostels we'd been staying in.
The reception staff were great, and it was a great area to hang out in, with big sofas, TV, pool table, vending machines, chill out area, a great vibe.
The bar in the basement was great fun - good atmosphere and happy hours!!
They also do a buffet breakfast for 3.

Pulizia assoluta
Anche se non garantita in altri ostelli, per noi la pulizia é molto importante. Wombat's Vienna è stato eletto "cleanest hotel worldwide" nel 2003 e ha solo perso questo premio nel 2004 quando Wombat's Munich ha vinto.
Le piú importanti facilitazioni
Siamo localizzati nel centro e vicino alla stazione e al trasporto pubblico. Le nostre camere hanno letti fatti di legno molto confortevoli, doccia e gabinetto e armadietti rinchiudibili gratuiti. Nel prezzo del pernottamento sono anche inclusi le lenzuola, una bevanda di benvenuto e una piantina della cittá con tutte le informazioni essenziali.
Offriamo anche una prima colazione del tipo all-you-can-eat, la nostra womBAR con bevande e cibo a un prezzo ragionevole, accesso internet, lavatrici, 24-hour reception e: no limite d'etá, e non abbiamo regole stupide. Tutto questo non troverai in nessun altro posto in cittá!

Ambiente eccitante
Vi assicuriamo che vi sentite a buon agio e sicuri. Dopo una lungo giornata in cittá camminando e camminando é bello passare un po' di tempo nell' ostello dove puoi bere una birra, chiacchierare un pocchino con gli altri travellers e far conoscenza con gente di tutto il mondo!
wombat's non é un ostello a basso prezzo
peró l'ostello migliore per il tempo piú meraviglioso della vostra vita!

We stayed at the Wombat Lounge for one night, and were very impressed.

They also do a buffet breakfast for 3.70 euros, which was a really welcomed service. Was very tasty and plenty of variety.
Close to a train station and has frequent trams running closeby so great location for further travelling and visiting local areas.
All in all, it was a totally great hostel and would defo recommend to anyone. It was better than some hotels we'd stayed at!!

It was very beautiful, and the location was also good. Security is steady.The room has the locker with the key, and there is bed linen.

I love Wombats! It is a great hostel chain and you always know what you are going to get. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with modern furniture and ensuite bathrooms. Loved the option of a women's only wing. Plenty of computers with internet access, laundry facilities, great bar and breakfast room. The hostel had plenty of info on local activities, excursions into other parts of Austria and restaurants/bars/nightclubs. Front desk will charge electronics for you and let you borrow guidebooks. Service was great and very professional. The hostel was just a couple of blocks from Westbanhof but a little way outside the historic city center. Plenty of nearby restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here or at any other Wombats again!

If you need to cancel your booking or change the dates, please email us (office@wombats-vienna.at) until the day before. (please DON'T call).

As this is a guaranteed booking (we keep your reservation no matter what arrival time you have selected) we have to charge the worth of your first night's stay on your credit card in case of no-show.
3.
After your stay, you will receive an email which gives you the chance to let us know what you liked and what you didn't like. We appreciate your feedback! Quite a few things you will find in our hostel were not our idea - your fellow travellers suggested them!
