Our inn provides free Internet access, free washing machine and free pick up service. Minshuku Rindo-no-ie is a comfortable, reasonably priced, Japanese style inn close to the historic and beautiful Nikko National Park. Nikko is the mountainous area of Tochigi Prefecture.
We will give you a warm reception and stay at our friendly Minsyuku (family-run inn) Rindou-no-ie. Our guest rooms are Japanese-style, with Tatami mat floors, Futon-bedding. We are very conveniently located in Nikko, within 15 minutes walking distance of the Tobu-Nikko Station, and within easy access to the major tourist sites (for example, Toshogu-Shrine for the Tokugawa Shogunate, Futarasan-Shrine, and Rinnouji-Temple).
You will be impressed with the old temples, shrines and the nature.
All rooms are Japanese Style Room with tatami matt.
Breakfast: 700 yen (order when confirmed reservation)
Dinner: 1800 yen -- Japanese style

15 minutes on foot.
== From JR Nikko Station ==
20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by taxi.
If you come on foot, walk toward Kirifuri from
JR or Tobu Nikko Station and cross the big river 'Daiya-gawa'.
Find a sign of Rindo-no-ie on your left side. Take left at the sign and walk straight until you see a creek. The inn is located before the small river on your right side.

Minsyuku Rindo-no-ie made my visit to Niiko one of the most memorable as it is one of the most hospitable places where I have ever stayed. The place has a very homey environment with the guest being treated like family. Nikko is a very small town so it is really easy to get around. When I was not walking the town, Sizuo Ohfusa San was very accomodating in providing transportation to the train station and hot springs. I highly recommend it as an excellent value.

This was our favourite place in Japan. A charming Minshuku with nice and always helpfull owners. We enjoyed the nice dinner, which price was unbeatable.

simply an awsome place to stay.the owners are so humble and kind ,it was a shame to leave .the facilities were very clean ,and a short walk into town ,so quiet for those seeking peace in the hills.i would recomend that anyone choosing to stay here would not be dissapointed.

The inn as a slight walk uphill from the JR Nikko station but other than that it was the most delightful place I have stayed in. The owners are extremely helpful, and will even drive you the onsen, and then drop your bag off at the train station when you're ready to leave. Breakfast was sumptous! 10 out of 10. Will definitely recommend it.
