YanC For me, C.C.Ly Hostel is definitely THE BEST hostel in Catania! If not the whole of Sicily. I had the most AWESOME time in Catania and C.C.Ly Hostel is a large part of that. New, clean, with funky decor and fantastic common area to chill, relax and meet loads of interesting travellers. It even offers free Wii and other games. The BEST part is the staff, in particular Jitka, she organised all my tours in Catania! Filled with helpful tips and travel information. She helped me planned my trip to Taormina, Siracusa and Mt. Etna. Her tips really helped me saved time, money and got the most out of each place. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Fresh pane and bio-home-made jams. Jitka again makes the best coffee and hot chocolate to kick start the day! I could easily stay longer in C.C.Ly Hostel. I would definitely book again if I return to Sicily! Thanks to all the good memories here in Catania, there's a high chance I will! :) Great work C.C.Ly Hostel. Keep it up!

jessiherz We spent some days at Catania City Center B&B and we felt really welcome. The staff contacted us some days before our arrival to give us some suggestions about how to reach the B&B and some tips about safety in the city. Our room was really nice and there was a kitchen that we could use to prepare dinner for us. We visited a lot of cities nearby Catania:Taormina, Siracusa and Agrigento and the staff also helped us to rent a car at a good price. If we go back to sicily, we would go back for sure in Catania city Center B&B.
carmen.s l'agora hostel is a great place to stay! friendly people, a terras full with locals every night, a beautiful location and a very good ambience! it's the perfect place to stay if you want to discover the miraculous island sicilia!
diegoarbai Good place to stay, nice owner. Neighbourhood looks unfriendly at the beginning, people are nice overall.
davidx The reason for the smaller number of stars for location does not concern the part of the city - which would merit 4 or 5 but on the number of steps. However the ownwers are happy to carry baggage for their guests. The home made jams and cakes mentioned in the advert are delicious and everything about the breakfast is perfect - the coffee being the best we had for any breakfast in B&Bs or small hotels in Sicily. The service of meeting guests a the airport and taking them there at the same rates as taxis was much appreciated.

Rhubarb23 This is a good option for budget travellers as Catania can be so expensive. The location is good, very near to the main square. We had a bit of trouble finding it when we arrived, as there is no sign, only writing above the buzzer. We couldn't work out how to go inside, so if you arrive I recommend that you straight away call the owner, as he does not live there. He will then come and let you in. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, the only problem was the shower in the bathroom which leaks water onto the floor a lot so that the bathroom was often flooded. There is air-conditioning which was definitely a relief as we retreated to our room in the hot part of the day. I would recommend this for you if you want a comfortable place which isn't too expensive.
